Carmichael Water District Staffs the District's Booth
At The Carmichael Founder's Day

2009 On September 26, 2009 District staff helped Carmichael celebrate its 100 year anniversary at the Annual “Carmichael Founders Day” event. Numerous visitors to the District’s booth were offered information on how to conserve water both indoors and outdoors. Children and adults played an interactive water conservation trivia game and won prizes helping to educate them on the benefits of water conservation. Staff provided visitors a glimpse into the District’s past through historic photos and pipeline displays.

2008 Carmichael Water District presented information on water wise gardening and the benefits of irrigation audits. Countless visitors to the District’s booth were offered information on how to conserve water both indoors and outdoors. Children played an interactive water conservation trivia game and won prizes helping to educate them on the benefits of conserving this important natural resource. A highlight this year was a visit to the District’s booth from Mr. Leaky.

Carmichael Founder's Day 2008

2007 Carmichael Water District presented information about our meter installation program at the annual Carmichael Founders Day Celebration. Visitors to the booth were offered information on when meters would be installed, how to read their meter, and given advice on how to save water and money. The many children who visited played water trivia games and won prizes. The Carmichael Chamber of Commerce and Carmichael Recreation and Park District host the annual event.
