February 29, 2008 - Our Lady of Assumption
On Friday, February 29, 2008 as part of a Joint Public Education effort Customer Service staff from Carmichael Water District along with staff from Del Paso Manor Water District gave a Hydrologic Cycle / Water Conservation presentation to Ms. Yarbrough’s first grade class at Our Lady of Assumption School. Through visual aids and trivia questions the class learned about the hydrologic cycle, where our drinking water comes from, and how to save this precious resource. As a special arts and craft project the students created bracelets out of beads that represented each part of the water cycle.
