Voluntary Metering Program
Carmichael Water District's residential customers can apply
to have a water meter installed on an accelerated schedule.
The District's Board of Directors approved a Voluntary Accelerated
Residential Meter Program providing for the installation of
50 water meters per year.
If you actively conserve water or if you have additional dwelling
units on your property, you may benefit from our water metering
program.
Who might be interested in going
on a metered rate? You may be able to save money on a metered
rate if you:
• Have a small lot with minimal water use
• Irrigate a portion of a large lot
• Have a water efficient landscape
• Actively conserve water – use less water than
the average customer
