A hydrant permit form may be obtained at the District office
located at 7837 Fair Oaks Blvd., Carmichael, CA 95608. A fee
of $50.00 must be paid in advance and the permit is good for
30 days.
TEMPORARY
FIRE HYDRANT USE PERMIT

SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

| 1.

Fire Hydrant MUST be
opened and closed slowly, using an approved fire hydrant
"spanner" wrench. Hydrant nozzle threads MUST
be protected by replacement of hydrant caps when hydrant
is not in use. |

This permit MUST be
in the possession of the person drawing water at all times.
This permit must be presented for inspection upon request
of the WATER, FIRE, OR SHERRIFF'S departments. The permitee
shall cease using a hydrant upon order of the aforementioned
departments. |
| 3.

The PERMITEE assumes
full responsibility for all damage resulting from use
of a fire hydrant and agrees to pay the costs thereof. |
| 4.
|
The PERMITEE shall defend,
indemnify, and hold Carmichael Water District harmless
from and against all claims and/or liabilities for injury
to person(s) or damage to property arising from the use
of a fire hydrant. |
| 5.
|
A charge of $50.00 must
be paid in advance before a permit is issued. Permit is
valid for one month. |
