Excellence in Financial Reporting
Carmichael Water Districts' (CWD) Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023 has received the prestigious Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA).
In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, CWD’s ACFR had to meet the high standards in government accounting and financial reporting, which includes demonstrating a constructive "spirit of full disclosure" to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the report.
This latest recognition is in addition to previous awards received by CWD for excellence in public finance.
