- AutoPay or Electronic Funds Transfer (PDF)
- Online Register for E-Billing, Text, and Autopay online. Pay by computer, phone, or smartphone.

Payment Types
The District accepts and provides the following electronic payment types and options for your convenience:
- Payments made by Credit or Debit = $2.95 Transaction Fee with a maximum per payment transaction cap of $350
- Electronic Checking or Savings Bank Account Payments = Processed Free
Go Paperless
Enroll in E-Bill/Paperless Statements and simplify your life. Less paper also means a greener environment. It's easy - select Paperless on your online payment profile page or email us at billing@carmichaelwd.org to enroll.
The District may contact you by phone or email to attempt to collect balances over 60 days delinquent. If payment is requested over the phone it will only be accepted by the credit or debit options shown above, please be aware that you will never be asked to pay by a checking or savings account. If you are unsure if it is a Carmichael Water District employee contacting you, do not provide any personal information, discontinue the call and phone the District’s number listed above to confirm.
Upon request, the District will consider an Alternative Payment Arrangement with a delinquent customer to avert discontinuation of residential service for nonpayment. We encourage our customers to call our office at (916) 483-2452 for more details about the Alternative Payment Arrangement.
